Six Seconds Challenge · Last updated 30 August 2026
Six Seconds Challenge is a timing game. This policy explains what data the app
handles, why, and how to have it deleted. It covers the Android app published
under the package name com.sixsecchallenge.app.
The app does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or password, and there is no sign-up form. When you first open it, an anonymous account is created automatically so your progress can be saved. We store:
If you allow notification permission, the app stores a push notification token — an identifier tied to your device and this app install, used to deliver a message to you — and your device's general timezone, so that notifications land at reasonable hours for you specifically rather than a fixed time zone.
This is used for exactly one thing: telling you when another player is available to match with, if you're not currently in a match yourself. It is never used for anything else, and you can decline or later revoke notification permission in your device settings at any time — the game works identically either way.
The app shows ads through Google AdMob. Every ad request is made as non-personalized: we do not build a profile of you, and your advertising identifier is not used for targeting. Google's advertising SDK is present in the app and is a standard part of how any mobile ad is requested and shown, but we do not ourselves collect, store, or share any data through it beyond requesting and displaying the ad itself.
Solely to run the game and, where you've allowed it, to notify you about real opponents: to save your progress between sessions, to show your tier, to match you with an opponent, to decide who won each round, and to tell you when someone else is available to play. Your data is not used for advertising targeting, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to these.
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with data brokers.
Data is stored on Supabase, which hosts the app's database and authentication on our behalf. If you allow notifications, your push token is passed to Expo's push notification service and Google's messaging infrastructure, solely to deliver the specific notification described above. Each of these processes data only to provide that service to us, not for their own separate purposes.
Your display name is visible to other players you are matched with. Nothing else about you is shown to them.
All data is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections. Gameplay records are kept for as long as the account exists, so that lifetime statistics remain accurate.
Because accounts are anonymous, uninstalling the app on its own leaves the stored record in place, and reinstalling will create a fresh account rather than recovering the old one.
To have your data erased, email ac36693@gmail.com from any address with your display name, or the account ID if you have it. We will delete the account, your push token if one was stored, and all associated gameplay records within 30 days, and confirm once it is done.
Full instructions, and a breakdown of exactly what is deleted and what is kept, are on the Delete your data page.
The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Since no personal information is requested at any point, the app collects nothing that would identify a child. If you believe a child has entered personal information as a display name, contact us at the address above and we will remove it.
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date at the top.
